Baby Projects

Hi to everyone. Yes I still exist and yes I knit.
It's been hectic since my last post as my DD was quite ill in early March and had surgery in early June.
A fellow co-worker and friend had her baby shower on June 3rd and I managed to make her little one a few things. She's having a boy very soon now.
I knit one of my favorite all time baby cardigans. Debbie Bliss' Ribbed Baby Jacket in size 3 to 6 months. I used Lionbrand, Cotton Ease, colour#110 Lake. I knit a basic baby hat to match.
I found this simple and lovely crocheted baby blanket pattern and made one using super soft Bernat handicrafter cotton in Off White and Robin Egg. It really is super soft. The pattern is by April Bennett with  Cuddle Me Beanies, Chevron Baby Blanket.
I found a few patterns on Pinterest to sew up as well out of jersey knit and cotton knit fabrics. The pants are called "just hatched baby leggings" from . They are super cute and if I'd had more blue cotton knit fabric in plain or patterned I'd have made more. The hat pattern I also found on Pinterest and is the "Knotted Infant Cap" from Make Sew Baby. The t-shirt was a onsie pattern and I'm sorry I can't remember who it belonged to.
The same Chevron Baby Blanket as above done in Berocco Vintage for my Great Nephew Hunter. I still have to knit him a jacket and hat etc. before mailing it.
I started knitting this super easy pullover using Patons Lacette in white for myself.  It's suppose to be in chunky weight but I am knitting it loosely on 10mm needles. It is called "The Norwegian Skappel Sweater" original pattern byDorthe Skappel and the translation to English is provided.
Well more later.
